Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope your Turkey Day is going well.I got up early and did some writing (trying to finish Part 2 of For Richer For Poorer due out this weekend.  See Part 1 here:  http://www.amazon.com/Richer-Poorer-Cassandra-Black-ebook/dp/B00EG37Q9U/ref=la_B005BU7Y44_1_4?s).

In about an hour (yikes, 45 mins! now), I'll head down to Negril's 7 Mile Beach (http://cassandra-black-author.blogspot.com/2013/10/finally-in-jamaica-for-fallwinter.html) to have lunch with my big sis and a cute little kid she's practically adopted over the last couple of years.  I hope we can get turkey, but it'll likely be jerk chicken, a local staple, re: it's an American holiday. But there are tons of expats on the island, and I'm sure we'll see some other Americans in search of turkey, too.

Enjoy your day, and be safe it you'll be on the road later.  I'll be perched at my fav lil' bar -- what I call the Cheers of Negril -- later this evening having pie and more food. Sis did some cooking and will share it with some of the bar family later tonight ... we're keeping up our Southern girls' tradition of stuffing our faces well into the evening on Thanksgiving. Will have to hit the road exercising tomorrow, though, re: the Reggae Marathon is a week away ... Let's not think about that now, though.

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy your family and friends on this special day!

Recent **ROMANCE Release** Loving Logan

Introduction -- Loving Logan

It's the holiday season, one week before Thanksgiving, and Chelsea Winters is moving from the hustle and bustle of Washington, D.C. to Whisper Creek, a small Virginia town on the outskirts of Norfolk. Taking a detour in her career, she gets a waitressing job at the town's local diner to help make ends meet as she licks her wounds and starts over.

Chelsea doesn't expect to meet Logan Wilde, the handsome, sexy businessman who owns the diner and most of the small businesses in the area, including the largest paper mill on the East Coast. Logan is also the owner of the cottage she's renting on Arbor Lane. Chelsea knows getting involved with her landlord and her boss -- especially after what happened in D.C. -- might not be a good idea.

_____
Logan knows there's more to Chelsea Winters than meets the eye. He wanted her the second he saw her curvy, petite frame peering into his diner window early one morning before dawn. Beautiful, smart, fiery, she reminds him of his mother, his father's mistress, who he believes abandoned him as a child to escape small-town living for the big city.

What's a big city girl doing in a small town like Whisper Creek? Logan wonders what Chelsea's running from in D.C., and how long she plans to stay in Whisper Creek. He wants her in his world -- and it has nothing to do with her working in his diner.

ROMANCE Release** For Richer For Poorer, Part 1 (Part 2 coming soon!)

INTRODUCTION:

Hamilton Steele, a sexy real estate developer, was looking for love in Harper's Grove, a sleepy town on the outskirts of Atlanta. A downward spiral of the housing market, and a twist of fate, landed him back in the handyman occupation he thought he'd seen the last of -- and onto the steps of Miranda Colbert.

Miranda's heart was closed to anything resembling love, especially after her last fiasco of a relationship. The only thing on her mind was getting Colbert and Company back on its feet and getting the little bungalow falling down around her up to par -- until she opened the door to her new handyman.

EXCERPT:

"Hi, ma'am," he said in a sexy voice with a slight southern twang. "I'm Hamilton. Hamilton Steele." She was a beautiful woman. A perfume he couldn't quite place teased his senses. Hamilton reached out to shake her hand. Dainty, soft. He knew if he squeezed too hard he would hurt her. His eyes lingered on the small, delicate features of her caramel-colored face. The fullness of her lips were irresistible, and the slender, silver chain around her neck traveled down to a pert bosom that was void of a brassiere. Something about her, almost like a magnet, made him want to pull her into his arms and ravish her with his lips.

Miranda's heart raced as she surveyed the creature in front of her. Jeans, white t-shirt, and construction boots were made for men like the one standing on her porch. Sexiness oozed from him as he stood there, devouring her with his eyes.
