Romance in Progress; Pack/Close Up for Caribbean ...

Mini Romance Work in Progress; Pack/Close Up for Tropics

I hope you're having a great weekend.  Thank you for stopping by my author blog. Please visit for the latest titles in Kindle format.  (See for NOOK books.)

Work in Progress

The mini romance novel in progress is Loving a Country Man. See draft cover here:  Still writing, trying to tie it up. (UPDATE:  See ... finally gave birth to this one!)

Pack, Sort, Close Up for Negril

Much on tap as I try to pack, sort, and close up things at home so I can head back to Caribbean for rest of fall/winter.  It'll be the familiar rice and beans "sacrifice" over the next month until I board the plane.  Wanted to share this related piece: Five Simple Steps to Happiness and Getting the Life & BUSINESS You Deserve — Starting Today

Here are some previous Negril, Jamaica posts:

Your Feedback is Much Appreciated!

Thank you for your feedback and your support with the last two mini romance novels:

I’m so glad you’re enjoying Hunter and Savannah (Texan) and Hamilton and Miranda (Richer Poorer). I want you to know your support and email comments mean so much. I read each and every one and take your feedback to heart. Both  the Texan and Richer Poorer series have follow-ups coming out this fall/winter.  The transition from small business writing to romance has been a pleasant surprise. Makes a girl want to curl up with a hunk of a man and just, well, hell, exhale. Terry had it right. :)

Enjoy Your Week

I’m writing this blog post Sunday evening … will peck away a few more hours, then catch up on the news and hopefully find a good Lifetime movie a little later.

Be safe and have a great holiday -- and enjoy YOUR week!

**Latest ROMANCE Release** For Richer For Poorer

For Richer For Poorer

Hamilton Steele, a sexy real estate developer, was looking for love in Harper's Grove, a sleepy town on the outskirts of Atlanta. A downward spiral of the housing market, and a twist of fate, landed him back in the handyman occupation he thought he'd seen the last of -- and onto the steps of Miranda Colbert.

Miranda's heart was closed to anything resembling love, especially after her last fiasco of a relationship. The only thing on her mind was getting Colbert and Company back on its feet and getting the little bungalow falling down around her up to par -- until she opened the door to her new handyman.

"Hi, ma'am," he said in a sexy voice with a slight southern twang. "I'm Hamilton. Hamilton Steele." She was a beautiful woman. A perfume he couldn't quite place teased his senses. Hamilton reached out to shake her hand. Dainty, soft. He knew if he squeezed too hard he would hurt her. His eyes lingered on the small, delicate features of her caramel-colored face. The fullness of her lips were irresistible, and the slender, silver chain around her neck traveled down to a pert bosom that was void of a brassiere. Something about her, almost like a magnet, made him want to pull her into his arms and ravish her with his lips.

Miranda's heart raced as she surveyed the creature in front of her. Jeans, white t-shirt, and construction boots were made for men like the one standing on her porch. Sexiness oozed from him as he stood there, devouring her with his eyes.
