Book publisher hiring writers for short, African American historical romances (18,000-20,000 words).

Please do not submit manuscripts in this genre that are not, at their core, romance. We are specifically seeking African American historical novellas with strong romance elements, laced with factual African American historical subplots.   

Novellas that do NOT have romance as a CENTRAL plot element cannot be considered.
