Up until well after midnight finishing Loving a Texan from New Orleans, PART 2 ...

Good morning. I hope you're ready for a great day. Up until well after midnight finishing Loving a Texan from New Orleans, PART 2. (See Part 1 sample.) Yes, yes, yes!

Now, it's time to edit. And I'm out of coffee.

OH NOOOOO! And I'm bleary eyed … this is NOT cute this morning. Have to make a quick java run and get down to the book. Can't wait to upload tomorrow (which means Amazon and BN should have it up by Friday -- Saturday or Sunday at latest.). Have to finish, b/c Friday is marketing -- and Monday starts a new book.

The weekend I will be spread-eagle in my yard, mowing, mowing, mowing. No choice. Okay, coffee, I'm comin'! (Mickey Dees... can't get caught up in grocery store this morning...)

Enjoy your Wednesday.

Quiet and peaceful at my little country home ... working on novella sequel ... Loving a Texan ...

Quiet and peaceful at my little country home ... working on novella sequel ... Loving a Texan ...

Cloudy in Atlanta today. Quiet and peaceful at my little country home. The few cars passing by and the occasional bird flying into doorway of my screened porch, trying to find its way out, is only "noise." (Think I need to put in another screen opening for the birds.)

God is good; feeling blessed, in a good spot. Cleared my plate on July 1st of pretty much all duties, but for my writing. Jumped out on faith. Have publishing schedule lined up for the month (updating one of my non-fiction titles and two novellas). Weighty, but the bar is high. Why not?

Right now, I'm cranking on Part 2 of Loving a Texan from New Orleans (love story). Part 1 was a huge success for a small, self-publisher like me. (To-date, I've sold over 700 copies ... the novella came out early February of this year.) The sequel is due out end of next week. The second part of this story is coming along nicely. (Boy, these "ancillary" characters are coming from nowhere!) See Part 1 here: http://tinyurl.com/loving-a-texan.

Enjoy the rest of your day. Back to Savannah and Hunter Wolf. (Confession: I think I'm in love with Hunter ... now if I could just lift him from the pages.)

Up in middle of night watching Brothers (the movie) ... half way through Loving a Texan, Part 2

Good morning. I hope your day is going well. I'm about half way through Part 2 of Loving a Texan from New Orleans. (See below for Part I.)  On to my second cuppa Joe. Need it today ...

Up Wee Hours, Watching Brothers Movie

Up in middle of night watching Brothers ... great movie. I've seen it before, but it came on about 2:30 a.m. on Channel 7 and just captured me, yet again. Great actors; great story. Nothing like good writing, you know. See http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0765010/.

Little Cottage in Negril

Dozed back off about 5:30 a.m. this morning, after flicking through news, but friend from Jamaica called me about 7:00 a.m. and woke me. Ahh, missing the tropics. Back in the fall. Can't wait to get back to completing my little cottage in Negril (converting it to a writers' rental), and getting settled in my new apartment there (the apartment has view to die for!).  Will take me some time, but I'm ready for the cottage completion challenge. 4th of July

I hope you have a great 4th of July. I'm looking forward to fun tomorrow with family and long-time friends, though it's supposed to rain monsoons! We'll be inside stuffing our faces and listening to music. God is good.

Enjoy your holiday.  Back to Loving a Texan ...
