Middle-Aged Women
Use Sex to Breakup Monotony of Work Week in New Line of Steamy Romances
Stone
Cottage Books has published another novella, Comfort Food and The Colombian, in its new line of short, sexy love
stories.
The
book line, Sex and the Work Week,
consists of steamy, romantic reads.
The
latest release, Comfort Food and The
Colombian, is the fifth title in the Sex
and the Work Week line.
Sex in the Work
Place Taboo
Most
of the heroines in the short romance books are middle-aged women who are in
need of "a change" in their lives. The women in the Sex and the Work Week line of books ultimately encounter
unexpected heroes -- some of whom are co-workers -- who sweep them off their
feet for some often much-needed “adult” fun -- fun that in some scenarios leads
to happily ever after.
Though
sex in the workplace has long been considered taboo, it makes for sexy,
“realistic” reading in many of the new Stone Cottage Books storylines. According to an article in Bloomberg Business entitled The Truth About Sex at Work, “We know that
work is a place where people bring their passion, their anxieties, and
everything else they’re dealing with at home and elsewhere in life. It
shouldn’t really surprise us that people get crushes on their co-workers and
sometimes take it to the next level.”
Strategic,
Mini-Novel Format
According
to the publisher, Cassandra Black, the multicultural romance line was created
to provide romance readers with a spicy break during their work day.
The
strategic, mini-novel format is such that the novellas can be read over lunch
breaks or during train, bus, or car-pooling commutes to work.
