Love, love, love my new place, but I've been to laundry place three times, dropping off clothes, blankets, towels, etc., that were closed up in my cottage and storage on West End. No matter what you do, if you leave it, it will likely smell when you get back to tropics -- or be filled with lizard eggs, uggghhhh! Learning, learning … Trying to get everything washed and smelling good so I can exhale.
GREAT writing this week so far. Have shuffled things a bit. New project "soon come" as my Jamaican friends would say. Took last week as a "vacay" re travel, but now I'm in full work and exercise mode. First full day back, I walked at least 15 miles, no kidding! Second day, at least ten, third, hills in Negril then back around to Cliffs -- another 13 or so miles. Feels good to be back in serious exercise mode. Great for creative juices. Will post photos when I get a USB for my very old digital camera. (UPDATE: Local computer store does not have USB cord for my camera, but see my Facebook fan page for a few photos ... I had my sister take a few for me. See https://www.facebook.com/cassandrablackauthor.)
Have a great week -- back online soon. (Opted to NOT get internet in my place but I did buy a television -- http://cassandra-black-author.blogspot.com/2013/09/trying-to-resist-buying-tv-for-negril.html -- that way I will simply WRITE when I get up each morning -- versus surfing for three hours). So far, this tactic is working quite well. (UPDATE 11/17/13: Broke down; had to get the internet. Hey, I tried!) At local place online. Back soon w/pics! Thank you for visiting my page. I appreciate your interest.

INTRODUCTION:
Hamilton Steele, a sexy real estate developer, was looking for love in Harper's Grove, a sleepy town on the outskirts of Atlanta. A downward spiral of the housing market, and a twist of fate, landed him back in the handyman occupation he thought he'd seen the last of -- and onto the steps of Miranda Colbert.
Miranda's heart was closed to anything resembling love, especially after her last fiasco of a relationship. The only thing on her mind was getting Colbert and Company back on its feet and getting the little bungalow falling down around her up to par -- until she opened the door to her new handyman.
EXCERPT:
"Hi, ma'am," he said in a sexy voice with a slight southern twang. "I'm Hamilton. Hamilton Steele." She was a beautiful woman. A perfume he couldn't quite place teased his senses. Hamilton reached out to shake her hand. Dainty, soft. He knew if he squeezed too hard he would hurt her. His eyes lingered on the small, delicate features of her caramel-colored face. The fullness of her lips were irresistible, and the slender, silver chain around her neck traveled down to a pert bosom that was void of a brassiere. Something about her, almost like a magnet, made him want to pull her into his arms and ravish her with his lips.
Miranda's heart raced as she surveyed the creature in front of her. Jeans, white t-shirt, and construction boots were made for men like the one standing on her porch. Sexiness oozed from him as he stood there, devouring her with his eyes.
